The turtles that lay their eggs every year on Mai Khao Beach are such a beautiful sight, and are rightly protected by many organizations. Every year for the past 11 years, there has been a ‘Fun Run’ to not only raise awareness of the turtles, but to also make some money to conserve these cute little reptiles.
The Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation always organizes this special fun run, which will this year take place on the 4th October at Pru Jet Sun Lake, nest to the hotel at Mai Khao Beach. Whether you want to take part in the run, want to come along to spectate, or would like to donate towards the charity, it promises to be a great day.
