With high-season just around the corner, we like to hear good indicators that it is going to be a good few months for Phuket and Thailand in general. It was recently reported that one of the world’s leading airline carriers, Emirates, are planning for twice-daily flights directly into Phuket from Dubai.
The news noted that the service will kick into action on the 1st December, which is a great indicator that we might be in for a good high-season.
Emirates is famous for their Business and First class seats, which might have a nice knock-on effect for high-end luxury tourists who book the island’s 5-star luxury hotels. It’s a great plan to attract upscale tourists from Europe and the Middle East.
Emirates has already said that they have started the new service because of the high demand for the coming high season months.
