The great thing about living in Phuket is that we can live that somewhat isolated tropical way of life while still taking advantage of all the things the modern world bestows upon us. It wasn’t always like that in Phuket, but in this day and age we seamlessly balance that secluded lifestyle with excellent and modern infrastructure.
I will finally make my point: the world-famous Swedish retail giant, IKEA, is coming to Phuket and will be opening a branch of the desirable brand on the island on Friday 27th November.
The branch will be opened at the Bypass Biztown and will be a pick-up and ordering point (PUP) although it will not be a fully-fledged superstore. However, shopping at the branch will be available through catalogues and via online.
