As high season is beginning to gird its loins, there are of lots of new flights into Phuket and Thailand from Western nations, which are a good sign for the next few months. Thompson Airlines, which is one of the United Kingdom’s biggest, have announced they will be launching non-stop direct flights to Phuket from Manchester next winter.
The airline recently announced the new fortnightly Phuket route, which will be the longest non-stop service from Manchester, at a total of 12 hours.
The launch date for the service has yet to be announced, but it will be sometime next winter, on board Thompson Airline’s fuel-efficient Boeing 787s.
It’s a great opportunity for those who live in Northern England to finally be able to book a direct flight into Phuket, without the rigmarole of flying into Bangkok and then transferring to a domestic flight to Phuket. Keep your ear to the ground on this one for the announced dates.
