April really is a great time to visit Phuket as there is so much happening on the island. We all know that the Songkran Thai New Year festivities take place during April, but if you are looking for something different when Songkran commences, the Thailand Balloon Music Festival will be taking place between the 14th and 17th April in Phuket.
The festival will be hosted at Paradise Park near the British International School in Phuket and will feature some of the country’s most prolific and popular bands, alongside a stunning hot-air balloon display, which is one of the biggest of its kind in SE-Asia.
There will be lots of bands, musicians and DJ sets on a nightly basis during the festival. The festival kicks off on the 14th April for VIP guests, and will be open to the general public the following day.
