Why not join in on the 20th Sunset Sea Turtle Release on 21st February with XANA at Attica Beach Club. 90 turtles will be released back into the Andaman Sea at sunset, with all the proceeds donated to the Phuket Marine Biological Centre, the Royal Thai Navy and the 3rd Naval Command for their ongoing conservation of the endangered sea turtles.
The event is also a fantastic place to take your children to teach them how important it is to conserve and maintain the natural eco-systems that surround us in Phuket.
Tickets can be acquired from XANA or any hotel with a front desk on Laguna. The donation for each ticket is 2,000 baht, which allows each ticket-holder to release one turtle each. Also included in the price of the ticket are two alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks and an evening of fun activities. The turtle release starts at 5:30am on the morning of the 21st February.
