Ah the old line agents hear all too often from clients; “We want to build a house and buy a plot of land”.
Queue the eye-roll! Yes, it’s a lovely thought, as long as it stays just that, a thought.
A question if I may, how many of these people have built a home in their own country?
Answer; not nearly enough and for a number of reasons. So why should it be different in a foreign country thousands of miles away that speak a totally different language and have totally different methods of construction etc?
Mike has been on Phuket and in Thailand for over 20 years in the construction industry. He talks to us about his business, the heart ache and the triumph that he has experienced over the years. Mike know the pitfalls of building yourself after having rescued numerous clients that are at the edge of despair.
