To bolster the island’s infrastructure even more, a new mega-luxury mall is going to be constructed in Phuket, costing around 20 Billion THB and having a 1km frontage in one of the main streets in Phuket Town.
Set to be constructed over an area of 150 rai using The Mall brand, this expansive new shopping outlet is expected to attract some of the biggest brand names and maybe even become more popular that the famous Siam Paragon in Bangkok.
This spacious new project is also expected to be home to a 5-star resort ab adventure park, supermarket and an exhibition and conference center, which will make it the only on of its kind in Phuket.
The center is set to be constructed in Phra Phuket Keaw Road, behind Billion Plaza and close to the Tesco Lotus underpass intersection.
Although Phuket is already home to the likes of Jungceylon and Central Festival, this new park is expected to blow the others out of the water. The name of the supermarket is expected to be ‘Blu Pearl’, although the name of the development will be ‘Pearl of Asia’.
The center should be complete come 2017, so let’s all look forward to another chapter for Phuket shopping.
