Just when you think it will be safe after all the Halloween parties that will be taking place over the next couple of days, we jump directly into the world-famous Loy Krathong Festival 2014. Why not try something different this year by celebrating Loy Krathong at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Resort on November 5th.
Loy Krathong is truly a serene and spiritual experience, casting away homemade floats in the river or sea to signify the casting away of your troubles and stresses from over the past 12 months, moving forward to the next 365 days while at the same time paying your dues to the water goddess. It’s also a great time for couple, as casting away a Krathong together is very romantic.
Experience this beautiful festival at the Dusit Thani Resort, where you will be entertained by live Thai classical music and performances, while enjoying a large Loy Krathong buffet dinner, showcasing the best in Thai cuisine. You can also help judge the best krathong contest, which will be fun.
The tickets for this event are 1,900 THB per person, with 50% off for children between the ages of 6-12 years old. The tickets are subject to a 10% service charge and 7% tax.
