Fishing is a little bit like golf in terms of its addictive nature as one of the most participated sports or pastimes in the world. Phuket has always been a popular destination for sea and sport fishing destination and if you are a fisherman you are in for a treat with the Phuket International Sportfishing Tournament, set to be hosted in Chalong on 20-22 November.
If you want to be part of the tournament, you can register on the evening of the 19th November at the Tamarind Bar & Grill in Chalong from 6pm onwards. The event will take place over 3 days with the weighing station also at the restaurant.
There are not just individual events this year, as there is also a new team event that promises to create a bit more of a fun atmosphere. This is the 10th year this annual event has been running, and it’s always a great experience for everyone involved.
