Those who have been to Thailand numerous times would have surely been to a Muay Thai boxing event at some point, but even if you have, it was probably a spit and sawdust kind of occasion. There is a new and interesting Muay Thai event afoot, one where the brutal world of Thai boxing meets elegance and sophistication.
Outrigger Laguna Beach Resort is set to host their “Black Tie Muay Thai” boxing event on the 29th November. At the event, there will be some fun celebrity fights alongside some exhibition rounds.
It should be an interesting event for all involved, and with all the proceeds going to the local charity, Phuket Has Been Good To Us, it’s all in a good cause.
