Thailand always seems to rank high in list compilations for both good and bad things. Whether it’s the best beach resorts in the world or the worse driving, we are a very polarizing nation indeed. Did you know that Thailand is one of the best two destinations in the world to live in terms of economic stability? Me neither!
The Bloomberg list was compiled as the infamous “Misery index”, which calculates the economic fate of 51 economies from around the world. The calculations were made by understanding each country’s inflation and unemployment, which are two factors that make consumers happy.
The results showed that Switzerland and Thailand had remarkably low scores in terms of inflation and unemployment, which is a good thing. It would seem that if you are looking for a country to settle and work, Thailand and Switzerland are the two best.
