Those of you who live in Phuket or have visited many times before will know the name and reputation of the Royal Phuket Yacht Club in Nai Harn, for many years known as one of the island’s first luxury hotels. According to Phuket property guru, Bill Barnett, the hotel will be reopened and rebranded in January with a new name of ‘The Nai Harn’.
The hotel will reopen on the 16th Jan 2016 after undergoing an 18-month upgrade and refurbishment. On Bill’s blog, he was state as saying “On offer will be a new-look 130-key luxury offering in a property that once came under both the Mandarin Oriental and Le Meridien brands at separate times,” he said. “In early 2014 the hotel was acquired by affiliated of the private equity firm S.C. Capital who are also behind the growing Manathai hospitality brand.”
It’s going to be interesting to see the new refurbishments at the Royal Phuket Yacht Club, and with one of the best beachfront locations in Phuket, will no doubt be truly spectacular.
