I remember one know-it-all once explaining to me that condominium and apartment sales in Phuket will never really amount to much because it’s a different market to Pattaya. For sure, Pattaya and Phuket really do have differing real estate markets, however, I have always been in the opinion that if you build something that is high quality in the right location for a value for money price, then people will come in their droves, and that really has nothing to do with the Thai property market – it’s universal!
Laguna Phuket have reported that 50% of their units at the newly launched Laguna Shores condo development have already been reserved, which is great news since it was only launched last December. The vast majority of buyers are from overseas, with nations such as Russia, United Kingdom, China, Australia and Singapore taking a real liking to the project.
120 of the 220 units in the development are in the process of transaction as we speak, with lots of interest in the rental returns investment program that Laguna Shores is promising. The construction will begin later this year and be completed by 2015.
