Those of you who know the island will tell you the most visited attraction in Phuket is the Phuket Fantasea Theme Park in Kamala. The owners of Fantasea are set to turn 62 rai of land in Kamala into a new theme park with construction beginning in the middle part of this year, taking approximately 18 months to complete.
The cost of construction is expected to be 1.35 billion THB and is set to be the most talked about new attraction in Phuket. Expected to be geared towards mass tourism, if the original Phuket Fantasea is already so popular, imagine what is going to happen when this new theme park is constructed. Either way, it’s great news for locals and tourists alike.
