Football, otherwise known as soccer by non-football worshipping nations, is a truly worldwide sport that brings people of all colours, creeds and nations together. Phuket is no different when it comes to the beautiful game. An international football tournament organized and hosted by British International School Phuket (BIS) is about to kick off tomorrow from 8-9 November.
The 12th consecutive year of this international 7-a-side football tournament is expected to see more than 1,000 young players from all over Asia partaking in the festivities.
The event is sponsored by the Phuket Gazette and Outrigger Laguna Phuket and is set to be another success for not only BIS, but also for Phuket Island in general.
