Over the next month or so is always an exciting time to be in Phuket, what with Songkran Thai New Year just around the corner and also Phuket Bike Week, which is always good for the island in so many ways. So if you are in Phuket over April, you are guaranteed to have a good time.
The annual Phuket Bike Week is celebrating its 22nd year, which really is an achievement. The event will be taking place as usual between the 8th and 16th April with the organizers anticipating more than 50,000 people and over 10,000 bikes over the course of the event.
The organizers have already stated that the event is expected to generate more than 1 billion THB for the local economy, which is always great news.
The event will be hosted at Loma Park in Patong on the 8-10 April, moving onto Anuphus Courtyard near Phang Nga Road in Phuket Town on the 15th and 16th.
