As we mentioned in an earlier blog, last week’s biggest event in Phuket was the White Party at the recently opened Nikki Beach Bar in Layan. We promised a star-studded guest list and that’s exactly what we got. Hollywood superstars such as Jean Claude Van Damme and Kellan Lutz were seen at the party that everyone is talking about.
Kellan Lutz is best known for his role as Emmett Cullen from the Twilight Saga movie, causing a bit of a stir at the White Party where he was duly interviewed by the island’s leading media outlets such as Phuket News TV.
Jean Claude Van Damme doesn’t really need an introduction, especially for those above 35 years, starring in a cacophony of action/martial arts movies in the late-80s and early-90s.
Phuket is not a stranger when it comes to visits from Celebrities, as it doesn’t seem too long ago when Rihanna and Snoop Dogg graced the island with their presence.
The White Party was a roaring success, both in terms of fun and great exposure for the island in general. Get yourself over the Nikki Beach Club when you have a chance to find out what all the fuss is about.
