The Royal Phuket Yacht Club Resort according to an industry insider is being put on the market for sale.This luxury resort that was formally operated by the Mandarin Oriental chain and now the Le Meridian Hotels has been an iconic resort here in Phuket since it was built in 1986 and designed by Thai architect M.L. Tridosyuth Devakula. This is hot on the heels of the last big hotel to be sold , the Dusit Laguna which recently sold for USD $ 358,000 per key. The price set for the Yacht Club is reported to be THB 1.3 ( USD $ 381,000 per key ).
