Anzac Day is one of the most loved and celebrated in the Aussie calendar, and for those of you on holiday or living in Phuket, you need to find somewhere to celebrate the day with likeminded souls. Make sure you get over to Lady Pie in Cherngtalay to enjoy their Anzac Day festivities on the 25th April.
The doors at Lady Pie open from5:30pm on the 25th and kick off proceedings with a reading/prayer service by Reg Macey at 6:15pm, which will then be followed by a wreath laying ceremony by the rep from the Australian Embassy, Geoff Tasker.
This will then be followed by the Ide, the Last Post, a 1-minute silence and then finishing off with the Rouse.
After the ceremonies, there will be lots of food, which will include Anzac Biscuits, pavlovas, and drinks. Enjoy a wide selection of Aussie music to compliment the entire day and celebrations.
