You know life is good when everyone wants a piece of the action, and that is what Phuket is currently experiencing with lots of new flights from all over the world landing at Phuket International airport. The latest airline to fly directly into Phuket is the Filipino low-cost airline, Cebu Pacific. The carrier plans to begin a direct flight service between Manila and Phuket starting on 16 August 2013.
Cebu Pacific will operate three weekly flights to Phuket on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The company has also recently launched flights to Bali, and also to Bangkok from Manila, Clark and Cebu.
A promotion will be launched for the Phuket flights until 23 May with prices discounted from PHP3,499 to PHP999, which will be a great way to kick start the new flights. Make sure you are quick to take advantage of the discounted prices.
Phuket is rapidly becoming the place to be in Asia, and the tourist figures over the past 6 months and the increase in direct flights to the airport, just mirror the fact.
