As I have championed many times within the pages of this blog, Phuket infrastructure is what sets this island apart from many other tropical holiday destinations across not only South-East-Asia, but the world! Four Phuket road projects, which have been in the pipeline for many years, have now been given the go ahead.
The four projects are the Samkong Intersection underpass, the Klong Koh Phee at Saphan Hin overpass, a new motorway that runs in parallel to Thepkrassattri Road, and the infamous Patong to Chalong road.
Those who have lived in Phuket for a number of years will inform you of the higher numbers of vehicles on Phuket roads in this day and age, which is why the go ahead of these four new roads is a godsend. Many tourist destinations are criticized for over development, but one thing is for sure, Phuket’s infrastructure grows more than most.
We are in the fortunate position in Phuket where we attract lots of foreign investment and tourists from the four corners of the globe, which is why it’s important we create the infrastructure to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
