Phuket is already known across the world as a nightlife Mecca, a place where you can enjoy a beautiful tropical holiday in the daytime and have some of the greatest nights out of your life. Although Phuket has a wide range of choices on the nightlife front, there is a fabulous new club in the pipeline. The O2 chain that already has establishments in Koh Samui and Phi Phi Island is set to open a new club at Chalong worth 120 million THB.
The opening date for the club is currently set for the auspicious date of 12.12.12. The club will be situated next to the popular Kan Eng restaurant on Chalong Pier and will no doubt stir a few pulses.
Pramook Tiprimalmas, O2 Events Coordinator said, ”We have invested 120 million baht in the Phuket outlet. Beach clubs seem to be growing in popularity on Phuket. We’ve been planning this move for several years.”
On O2’s main website, the company has stated that ”Ao Chalong is a beautiful and romantic place where you can relax, have fun and enjoy the party day and night. There will be lots of beach activities for everyone and a kid’s corner for children.”
This is great news for Chalong, as its nightlife is normally overshadowed by the Patongs and Karons of this world, but all that is set to change!
