If you live on the island with your family and kids, you will already know that it is difficult to find international standard football coaching for children. The lack of qualified coaches on the island who can teach the young ones the basics of the game or to develop those that already have the skills has always been an Achilles heel, until now that is as the West Ham Unite Football Academy is holding a 5-day camp on the island.
The West Ham player development camp is aimed towards kids aged from 8 to 13 years and will be hosted by Phuket Soccer Schools (PSS) at the Thanyapura Sports Club between the 5th and 9th March 2016, creating the perfect opportunity for those of you with kids who want them to learn the basics from real professionals.
The camp is open to boys and girls and offers 10-hours’ player development by one of the most famous and best youth academies from England that have brought through players such as Frank Lampard and Joe Cole.
Any stand-out talents in Phuket will be invited to the WHUFC UK Academy. All camp members will receive top coaching, a free T-short and polo short.
